Running for Second Term as 2nd Vice-President

Mary Kay "MK" Noble

When I moved back to Ohio in November of 2023 from TN, I was a widow, a former Eastsider, and active in hiking, biking and kayaking. The only thing I was missing was friends.The NWS made that possible by welcoming me with a smile, open arms and numerous possibilities.

I am now completing my one year term as your Second VP/Welcoming and would be honored to be elected to this position for one additional year. I want to continue to give back that warm feeling that I experienced in meeting all of you.

I will embrace new members and help guide them through the early stages by answering questions and directing them to interest groups. I will be their cheerleader!

Running for Second Term as Secretary

Patti Hays

My name is Patti Hays, and I have been a member of NWS for more than three years. I’ve enjoyed every minute of being part of this wonderful organization. I moved back to the Greater Cleveland area 14 years ago after retiring from a long career in Human Resources, which took me to many places around the country.

I currently serve on the NWS Board as Secretary. This role was initially a one-year commitment with the option to serve an additional year. With the agreement of the membership, I have chosen to remain on the board through this election in order to maintain the consistency and momentum of the work that has begun over the past year.

Prior to serving on the board, I was a co-chair of the Lunch Bunch group, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have also loved participating in the Handcraft, Breakfast Club, and Discover groups. When I’m not involved in NWS activities, I enjoy golfing, sewing, and cooking..
