As a member of New Westsiders you can join us for any of these activities.
Our membership dues are just $30 a year.
We have over 30 activities to choose from. There is no limit to how much you can do. The activities are categorized into groups based on time of day, games, and couples. Explore them all!
Women's Daytime Interest Groups
Book Club
meets monthly at a member’s home to discuss the book of the month. All readers welcome.
Breakfast Club
meets monthly at a local restaurant. Come as you are for coffee, food and conversation.
Discover
meets monthly to explore wonderful points of interest in the amazing Cleveland area.
Garden Club
casual tours of private and public gardens during the summer; followed by lunch.
Gourmet Gals
meets monthly for lunch in a member’s home to enjoy food based on a theme or menu. Members share the cost of the meal.
Handcraft Club
meets monthly at the library to work on our projects, share information, improve our crafts through mutual help, and enjoy time together.
Lunch Bunch
meets monthly at a local restaurant to enjoy food and conversation.
Movies & Munchies
meets monthly at a local theater to enjoy a movie and snacks.
Par Tee Golf
meets bimonthly on Thursdays to play 9 holes at a public course.
Travel Club
meets monthly in a member's home. Find out where other members have traveled, share where you have gone and, best of all, dream about where you want to go.
Volunteer Group
members will have opportunities to support local worthwhile endeavors. Nominal monetary contributions may be required. Frequency varies
Walk n' Talk
meets in various parks to enjoy scenery, wildlife, conversation, and get in some exercise. Frequency varies according to weather.

Ethnic Eats
meets monthly at a restaurant to explore cultural foods found in the amazing Cleveland area.
Evening Reading Group
meets monthly at a local restaurant's private room to discuss the books they're reading. All readers are welcome.
Happy Hour
meets monthly at a restaurant to eat, chat, let down your hair, kick up your heels.
Singles on Saturday
meets once a month on Saturdays for dinner at local restaurants

Beginner's Bridge
meets monthly during the day at a member’s home. Basic understanding of Bridge required.
Marathon Bridge
paired members meet as available in a member’s home.
Bunco*
meets monthly in a member’s home for a fun, easy, fast-paced dice game. This group meets in the afternoons.
Euchre*
meets twice a month during the day in a member’s home for a fun game of cards.
Hand and Foot/Canasta*
meets twice a month during the day in a member’s home for a fun game of cards.
Mahjong Rummy*
meets monthly during the day at a community center for a fun and easy tile game.
Rummikub*
meets monthly during the day in a member’s home for a fun and easy tile game.
Couples Evenings & Weekends

Couples Euchre
meets monthly in a member’s home for a fun game of cards. New and experienced players welcome.
Dining Out
meets monthly at Cleveland area restaurants in small groups of 6-10. Each month has a different culinary theme.
Fine Arts*
Meets monthly to attend a play, concert or exhibition in nationally known as well as community venues.
Investment Club*
meets monthly at a library, restaurant, or member’s home. Evaluate stock, when to buy or sell, and do real trading as a group. Monetary investment required to trade.
Pinochle
meets monthly in a member’s home for a fun game of cards. New and experienced players welcome.

Wine Enthusiats
meets monthly to savor wine experiences or embark on winery tours.

Luncheons
held monthly, our luncheons bring the whole club together with a select menu and program. Twice a year we have our extra special luncheon in December for Christmas and in April for a fashion show.
Men's Group
meets monthly for breakfast at a local restaurant. Additional activities include periodic tours of local businesses and places of interest. Open to spouse/partner of NWS members.
